Healthy eating can be dangerous!!

Poor Paully was chopping up a heap of fruit to make us a supply of fruit salad for the week.  This routine has been done every week for the last month while we have been on our health kick.  It only takes a little lapse in concetration for disaster to occur.  You'll see by the pic that he chopped a fair chunk of his thumb - OUCH!  And for the record he was very brave :)

Something I have noticed when eating a lot healthier is the amount of chopping you do.... Fruit, Salad & Vegies, it never stops.  My 2 best friends now are - Sharp Knife & Tupperware.  Who would have thought that I'd be into Tupperware - OMG it's "The Shit!"

I think I might have a Tupperware party... OMG am I feeling ok?  Sammy, you have to come cause I come to yours!!  haha.

Anyways here's all our yummyness in my fantastic Tupperware Besties...

I'm out to dinner tonight and tomorrow night - I need to stay strong and eat well.  It's going to be hard  :(

I want I want I want

I am in ♥ with this Sass & Bide skirt and I need some help from Blogland. 

I really really really want to buy it and it's even on SALE at the moment for $220 down from $490.... thats a good buy right? 

The problem I have is I resigned from my job and finish tomorrow (yippee) and may not have an income for the next month or 2.  But how do you say "No" to something your inlove with?  My Heart says - "Buy Buy Buy", but my Brain says - "Common be a good girl, just let it go and you dont really need it do you?"  STUPID BRAIN!!!

It looks great with the heels but I would really love to wear it more casually with black tights or leggings with strappy flats.  And up top with a pretty flowy white tee or singlet - NICE :)

Blogging At Work = Naughty ;)

Well I'm bored so that's why I thought I'd get on the Bloggaroonie  :)

There is a good reason why I have no work to do... yep I'm leaving my job and finish this Friday.  I have been at my job just under 8 years so a little freaked out by a major change in my life.  So here I am at my desk and you can even see I'm on Facebook  LOL.

Its such a odd feeling working for a company once you resign.  I'm still passionate about everything my company does and still want them to keep beating our competitors but I really cant be bothered with it all now hehe.  Which is very strange for me as I'm a very passionate person and throw everything into what I do.

Anyways enough about work.

Some exciting news (well I'm excited) is that I finally figured out how to wear my Cue leggings.  Actually the truth is I couldn't figure it out and had to go into a store to find out  LOL.  They are on SALE in stores now for about $20 down from $50.  Check em out, pretty cool hey....

Queensland Floods

I feel very sad for all the people effected in the Queensland. 
                                       

I worked in Brisbane for 6 months in 2007.  I just saw on the news that the town I lived in - Newstead (right next door to Brisbane) is under threat in the next 24hrs.  The company I'm currently working for have shut down their state warehouse and sent everyone home.  It's all so full on!!

Project Lemon Tree

A major part of my healthy eating is cutting out Salt and Sauces.  The perfect replacement is LEMONS.  With the sour taste of the lemon it works like salt and adds a lot of flavour to both chicken and seafood.  Also nothing is more tasty then having lemon sqeezed all over Veggies or Salad... YUMM!

PHASE ONE:

Purchase the magical "Lemon Making Tree"

Clear a nice big area for the tree to be all it can be

 It may seem weird but peeing on a lemon tree helps it grow. Urine is made up of water, salts and urea, which is an organic product containing nitrogen, much like fertiliser.  :)

PROJECT LEMON TREE UPDATE:

Our tree is thriving in the strange weather Melbourne has been putting on.  There has been so much rain and now lots of sun.  A great mixture for a perfect start to a trees life.
